Blessing of Animals

On October 4th the Church honors St. Francis of Assisi. On this day it is customary to celebrate the Blessing of the Animals. Since October 4 falls on a Tuesday this year, we will have our Blessing of Animals on Saturday, October 8th. Father Jason will bless the animals in front of the church on Saturday, October 8 at 9:00 a.m.   Everyone is invited to bring their pets, large or small, house pets or farm pets. All are welcome to join in this blessing and prayer of thanksgiving to God, even if you do not bring an animal.
